Forseers is a web application built for the NASA Space Apps Hackathon that can detect Weather, Air Quality and Fire around the area. Users can set their current location on an interactive Mapbox map and see live weather, short-term forecasts, and air-quality metrics in a clean, dashboard-style UI. The app overlays a heatmap of active fires using NASA FIRMS satellite data, allowing users to instantly spot nearby fire clusters. Our future roadmap includes training our own smoke-prediction ML model to forecast smoke spread from active fires and deliver early alerts to nearby communities, along with expanded safety tips and emergency-readiness features.
